At River Oaks Church,

our Missions and Outreach ministry is dedicated to living out the Biblical call to care for others, both locally and globally.

We believe in emulating Jesus' servant-hearted ministry by reaching out to those in need, serving the least of these, and making a tangible difference in the world.

Local Initiatives

Our local outreach efforts focus on addressing the immediate needs of our community. From providing support for the orphaned and the widowed to serving the marginalized and disadvantaged, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in our own backyard.

River Oaks Church proudly supports missionaries around the globe who are dedicated to spreading the gospel and serving those in need. These faithful servants are an extension of our church’s mission to make Christ known and loved worldwide.

At the heart of our Missions and Outreach ministry is the example set by Jesus. He came to serve, not to be served, and calls us to do the same. By living a life that reflects Jesus’ servant-hearted ministry, we can impact the world around us and bring glory to God.

What kind of projects does the Missions and Outreach Ministry support?

We support a wide range of projects, including local food drives, community service initiatives, disaster relief efforts, and partnerships with international missionaries and organizations.

Do I need special skills to participate in missions and outreach?

No special skills are required. There are opportunities for everyone to serve, regardless of experience or abilities. We provide training and support for all our projects however at times, we will require specific people in fields of construction, and health care providers depending on the nature of the mission.
