Missions
At River Oaks Church,
our Missions and Outreach ministry is dedicated to living out the Biblical call to care for others, both locally and globally.
We believe in emulating Jesus' servant-hearted ministry by reaching out to those in need, serving the least of these, and making a tangible difference in the world.

Local Initiatives
Our local outreach efforts focus on addressing the immediate needs of our community. From providing support for the orphaned and the widowed to serving the marginalized and disadvantaged, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in our own backyard.
- Food Drives: Providing essential groceries to those in need.
- Community Support: Offering assistance and companionship to the elderly and lonely.
- Youth Programs: Engaging local youth in positive, faith-building activities.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
— James 1:27
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
— Micah 6:8
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
— Matthew 25:40
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
— Matthew 28:19

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
— 1 Peter 4:10
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
— Mark 10:45
Living A Jesus-Centred Ministry
At the heart of our Missions and Outreach ministry is the example set by Jesus. He came to serve, not to be served, and calls us to do the same. By living a life that reflects Jesus’ servant-hearted ministry, we can impact the world around us and bring glory to God.
Topics we prayer for:
- "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." — Mark 10:45
- "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." — Matthew 25:35-36
Join us in our mission to serve others, both near and far, as we follow Jesus' example and make a lasting difference in the world.
