What is the Women's Ministry?
The Women’s Ministry at River Oaks Church provides opportunities for women to connect, grow in their faith, and serve together through various events, Bible studies, and service projects.
When does the Women's group meet?
We offer some Bible study groups that meet throughout the week, as well as monthly fellowship events. Specific times and dates can be found on our church website or on the church centre app.
Do I need to register to attend?
Registration is required for our Bible study groups to ensure we have enough materials and space for everyone. For other events, registration may or may not be necessary, depending on the activity.
What can I expect at a typical Women's Ministry event?
Our events range from Bible studies and prayer gatherings to social events and service projects. Each event is designed to encourage spiritual growth and build strong relationships among women. Oh, and yummy food is often a part of our gatherings.
Who leads the Women's Ministry?
The Women’s Ministry is led by a team of women from our congregation and is overseen by Betty-Ann Yamoah.
Are there any special events for women?
Yes, we host and or attend various events throughout the year. Some of those events are women’s retreats, conferences, and special outreach projects. Stay tuned for specifics as we like to keep things organic and fresh each year for our women’s ministry.
